chikaraspecial:

With Eddie Kingston’s victories in both Gibsonville, NC and Porterdale, GA, he will be the one defending the Grand Championship against Archibald Peck on the evening card of “Tag World Grand Prix 2013” in Chicago, IL on May 18th. Peck made his CHIKARA debut way back on March 12 2011 against Eddie Kingston where he lost via Backfist to the Future. Peck claimed that Kingston’s Backfist literally sent him back in time where he was able to procure a Sports almanac and see what the future held in store for him. Things were going well for Peck, until he started accruing losses from Fall of 2011 forward. It got to the point where Peck donned a new persona, “Mixed Martial Archie”, to get his confidence back in an attempt to return to his winning ways. This change was met with moderate success. Off-screen at “Chikarasaurus Rex: How to Hatch a Dinosaur” during a tag team “Loser Leaves Town” bout, MMA made his way backstage where he encountered. Kingston Backfisted Martial Archie, which once again sent him back in time where he became The Mysterious and Handsome Stranger. Somehow, this rift in time caused there to be two Archibald Peck’s: the one we see in CHIKARA rings today (i.e. the one challenging Kingston on May 18th) and another seen in the “Where in the World is Archibald Peck?” videos. As explained by Peck’s lawyer, Barrister RD Evans, when the Peck who is competing in CHIKARA now is Backfisted again, he will be send back to “Chikarasaurus Rex: How to Hatch a Dinosaur” to finish the Loser Leaves Town match. At that point his CHIKARA career will effectively be over. Suffice it to say, that’s the big question leading into this title match: will Peck receive Eddie Kingston’s Backfist to the Future, and if so, what will happen? Even if Peck wins the title, can Eddie out of rage hit him with the Backfist and send both Peck and the Grand Championship back to “Chikarasaurus Rex?” Those in the building will be watching with baited breath as the War King defends his title for the 13th time.
